Gourmet chefs put Foster appliances to the test

February 2nd, 2012

If you’re stuck for dinner ideas and want to make something truly delicious, why

not try some of the dishes on Foster’s Italian website?

Popular Italian chefs have used the S4000 induction hobs, multifunction oven and steam oven from the premium manufacturer to create a range of traditional Italian recipes, including finger food, main meals and desserts.

You can now re-create healthy dishes such as ricotta gnocchi and aubergine caviar and strawberry soup with floating meringue using the recipes on the website (available in English).

You can also watch step-by-step guides to creating the dishes and see the Foster appliances at work via Foster’s YouTube channel dedicated to gourmet meals.

As well as showing the best of Italian cooking, the YouTube clips demonstrate how a well-planned kitchen full of performing appliances can make cooking simple, quick and easy.

So which recipe will you try?

A greener website!

November 30th, 2011

As I’ve mentioned previously, we have a lovely creative company called Zero Above that deal with all of our website design.  The fantastic thing about Zero Above is their environmental policy; they believe in sustainable design solutions.

This year they are part of the Woodland Carbon Scheme, creating 500m2 of new native woodland in the UK – enough to capture and store at least 20 tonnes of CO2.   This scheme is part of their ongoing strategic programme in partnership with Woodland Trust to reduce emissions.

Now, this means that by commissioning Zero Above in the design and build of the new Foster UK website, Euroline has helped in the contribution towards creating 500m2 of this new native woodland – they have given us a tree that will be donated in our name.

Rik James, a Business Partner at Zero Above popped in the other day to present us with our ‘Carbon Certificate’ signalling our participation in the scheme.  As always, cue cheesy photo opportunity…

Create your ultimate B_Free Fusion online

November 30th, 2011

Following the launch of their unique, made to measure cooking surface B_Free Fusion, Barazza have launched an online ‘configurator’ for designers and consumers to assist in the creation of their very own B_Free Fusion.

The online programme allows the user to specify which hobs and sinks from the available range they would like to include in their design.  They can also specify depth of the surface and even distances between products, creating specialist stainless steel work areas if they need them.

Once the design is complete the user can then create a PDF and print out a visual of the final solution with product specifications – ideal for a designer to show their client or even a client to show their designer!

Once the design is finalised the PDF is perfect for submission to Euroline for a quotation.

So, why not have a go…!  http://www.barazza.co.uk/bfree-fusion.html

Multi-award winners!

November 28th, 2011

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we took home two awards at this year’s Colchester Business Awards - “Growing Business of the Year” and “Excellence in Marketing”.

Winner Colchester Business Awards 2011

Friday’s awards were met with excitement and a nervous anticipation from the whole team as we donned our evening gowns and black ties.  Starting with a fabulous champagne reception, we felt slightly more relaxed when it came to the awards’ ceremony!

We were so pleased for our web designers Zero Above when they were announced of winners for the first two awards, “Best New Company” and “Environmental Awareness”, and it was soon our turn to feel our hearts beat a little bit faster when it came to our categories.

Hearing our name announced was absolutely thrilling and we all took to the stage on both occasions to accept the awards.  If you are local, do get yourself a copy of this Friday’s Essex County Standard if you would like to see our beaming faces on stage!

All that remains to be said is a massive thank-you to everyone who has supported us and helped us on our way to achieve such prestigious awards.  We look forward to all of our future business with you.

Falmec win second award of 2011

October 24th, 2011

Well what fabulous news to share with you all, Falmec have won their second product award of 2011.  Following their success at the KBB Review Awards earlier this year, Falmec have now won a prestigious Gold Certificate for Product Innovation for their Horizon NRS® hood at the Designer Magazine’s Design Awards.

NRS® stands for Noise Reduction System®, a unique technology from Falmec that has been produced in conjunction with specialist laboratories in Italy.  Not only does it optimise the air flow, reducing resistance, the principal cause of noise in extraction, but it also includes the use of specially developed sound-absorbing materials.

All of this development means that this powerful extractor operates at whisper-quiet levels.  For example, the larger models which contain two powerful 800m3/h motors operate at a maximum decibel level of only 54db(A), the equivalent of somewhere between a whisper and normal conversation!

Falmec NRS® Collection of hoods still remain the quietest of their class in the world.
